What mistakes do our beginners make most often?
1. The mistake – not to read the Documentation on the platform before trading.
Our bots have a lot of flexible settings, and it’s impossible to understand everything about their work after asking just two or three questions in a chat.
Financial instruments require respectful treatment, otherwise you will not get profit from them.
What do we recommend?
Spend enough time for self-education – and the result will please you at a distance.
We would especially like to mention such a resource as the Veles User Community in Telegram. Join our chat, follow the News and discussions, make friends – and you will never be left alone with your questions.
2. The mistake – to allocate too much money to the bots deposit.
Trading is a high-risk activity, and even professionals with many years of experience periodically incur losses – they just know how to control their size. We strongly advise you to start trading only with as much funds as you can consider as “tuition fees”. When you are promised “X’s” at trader courses, remember that this is the best possible scenario, but it is far from guaranteed. Study the proposed materials, do not hesitate to ask again the incomprehensible, literally at every step, so that everything works out for you. We provide information support, because Veles earns only when you make a profit.
What do we recommend?
If problems are expected or have already occurred, cancel these active deals according to our instructions.
How to correctly calculate the size of the supporting margin on Futures is described in our article. Make a calculation and change the settings of the bots so that their trading is safe.
3. The mistake – not to handle the situation of stopping the bot with an error.
The Veles platform is an intermediary between you and the exchange. In case of all erroneous situations, you need to check how the error was reflected on the exchange itself, and not just “slap” the bot so that it starts up again. You should run the bot on a clean trading account, and not interfere with its operation, either with your hands or with other bots (for the same coin and direction). The remaining open position, forgotten orders – all this can lead to loss of funds. Novice traders should always check with the Support for the correct procedure.
What do we recommend?
When the bot stops with an error, handle the situation as quickly as possible. If the error is old, don’t just try to restart the deal. Sometimes it will be safer to manually close a deal on the exchange, and start the bot on a clean account. Check with Support for the procedure. How to close a deal manually is described in our article.
4. The mistake – to believe the promises of scammers.
Cryptocurrency is an area where scammers are actively working. Sometimes, you just need to add yourself to a chat on the subject of cryptocurrencies, and you will receive interesting offers (in private messages or you will be added to groups) – quickly, easily and safely earn money, participate in an urgent cashback promotion, or save your funds from a failure on the exchange, or undergo advanced training, and so on.
What do we recommend?
Do not transfer any funds anywhere, check the information in the Community, contact Veles Support yourself first and always double-check who is actually writing to you.
5. The mistake – to launch too many bots at once.
It is not recommended to start more bots than you can control manually, without using locks. When setting up locks, experience and a clear understanding of the mechanics of trading are required, and some mistakes by beginners lead to the fact that the lock does not work as expected.
What do we recommend?
If problems are expected or have already occurred, cancel these active deals according to our instructions.
Stop some of the bots. For the rest of bots please check the size of the supporting margin, please follow the recommendations in our article. Make a calculation and change the settings of the bots so that their trading is safe.
6. The mistake – to launch several bots for the same coin and algorithm.
Please, until you have learned how to set up locks, create no more than one bot for each coin. Otherwise, conflicts and processing errors are possible – the bot will show you profitable deals, but in reality there will be losses on the exchange!
What do we recommend?
If you have several active deals for the same coin and direction, cancel these deals according to our instructions.
For the rest of the bots please check the size of the supporting margin as it is described in our article. Make a calculation and change the settings of the bots so that their trading is safe.
