Web3 wallet and DEX

A Web3 wallet is your personal way to access crypto assets and DEX services. Unlike a regular exchange, there is no classic login and password flow: actions are confirmed by signing inside the wallet.

The main difference between a DEX and a centralized exchange is that funds remain with the user. The platform does not store your assets for you — it only provides an interface for trading and managing them.

When connecting and trading, two signatures are usually required. This is a normal flow: one signature grants trading permission, the second one allows extra fee deduction.

Some of the most popular Web3 wallets are:

  1. Install or open a suitable wallet.
  2. Save the seed phrase.
  3. Check that it is written down and stored safely.
  4. Never share the seed phrase, private keys, or device access with anyone.
  • Never send the seed phrase in chats or email.
  • Never enter the seed phrase on unknown websites.
  • Never show the private key to other people.
  • Use only official apps and extensions.
