My Intervals
My Intervals lets you define any timeframe for your bot and chart — beyond the standard set of 1m, 5m, 1h, and so on.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Open the interval settings in your bot or on the chart.
- Select Add custom interval.
- Enter the desired interval — any value in minutes, hours, or days, greater than 1 minute.
- The saved interval will appear in the common list and become available for selection in the editor and on the chart.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- Intervals below 1 minute are not supported.
- The limit of 10 intervals applies per device; intervals stored inside bots don’t count toward this limit.
Examples
Section titled “Examples”Example 1: Non-standard short-term interval
You want to trade on a 13-minute interval, which isn’t in the standard list. Create a custom interval 13m — it will appear alongside standard options and work in both bots and charts.
Example 2: Near-daily interval
If the standard 1d timeframe is too long and 12h is too short for your strategy, create a 23-hour interval. Indicators will be calculated based on this interval.
Impact on Strategy
Section titled “Impact on Strategy”Non-standard intervals let you fine-tune a strategy to the specifics of a particular asset or trading session. For example, a 13-minute interval reduces noise compared to 5m while reacting faster than 15m.
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Use custom intervals when:
- Standard timeframes don’t fit your strategy.
- You want to test unusual periods in backtesting.
- You need a specific timeframe for visual analysis on the chart.
